Photographer of the Week: Kevin Cooley
It’s dazzling and infuriating when other photographers hit upon an aesthetic you love. Cooley did so with three wonderful series: one on a remote Scandinavian village, one on lone figures in the night, one on LAX flight patterns. Truly wondrous work.

Collaboration: Meat
This was a collaboration between myself, Nils Ericson and a slew of beef tongues from several months ago. Raw meat is very interesting to me, as are internal organs. They are vital to us, yet they are never seen, or considered foul or repugnant. Much of this is due to living with an industrialized food system that separates us from the origins of our meals.
