Photographer of the Week: Marian Drew

Marian Drew shoots the landscapes, prints them, uses them as a backdrop in her still life shots. She lights the set-ups with a torch and lets the exposures go for several minutes. The stories are of animals that got too close to our world. And perished. So in the end, we have what we need.

Photographer of the Week: Donald Weber

From the tips of the fingers of Donald Weber: “When Lenin took power by 1919, 16,000 people were in czarist prisons. Two years later, the Bolsheviks sentenced 70,000 men, women and children to corrective labour camps, as they are now called. Eventually 30 million people fell into the gulags, before they were officially abolished in 1960. Their survivors are known as Russians.”

Exhibition: Entopic Group Show

Entopic Group presents Forgetting the Limits

We are glad to announce a new online group show on Entopic Group: Forgetting the Limits. This time we prepared something different: its a mix of 15 images by 15 artists. There is no specific theme connecting the images, we are only providing them a space where each photo can be seen without its original context. It features works by Tim Vance, Matthew Genitempo, Andrew Buckland, Cameron Wittig, Maciek Jasik, Nicholas Gottlund, Noah Kalina, Jeff Mclane, Roman Dvorczov, Eva Marie Rødbro, Katie Shapiro, Phil Chang, Will Govus, Ferreira de Almeida and Thomas Macker. Thank you all and spread the word!
